This product is as it says it is. A cheaper version of the ergo keyboards, even though it is priced at 80 (the next option is a lot expensive). The frame chassis could be better built, but it's made out of sturdy printed material nonetheless. Besides that, everything is spot on. Vial works for both my Mac and Linux laptop. This is my first 45% Corne v4 keyboard. I have had this for almost two weeks. It is comfortable to type when the hands are spread apart at shoulder's length. I have a Microsoft Sculpt too. So I am quite accustomed to typing on a split keyboard. Fair warning. Reducing the number of keys from 104 to a minimal 46 is a steep learning curve. I am still learning to type fast, but it's coming. Is it worth the effort? Over the long run, yes (my 2 cents). I used Vial to customize and layer the keys. The software is not intuitive, but a quick YouTube introduction helped. Layering is what makes the Corne worth learning. It is extremely customizable and doesn't lack functionality. But be prepared to unlearn bad typing habits and relearn how to use your personalized keyboard. The keyboard quality is comparable to other better-known brands. It is small and compact. It comes with a short TRS cable. I wish it could be longer, but you can easily replace it. I wish there were an option for a tactile switch. I tend to accidentally press keys. It takes a bit of getting used to the keyboard sound, but it's not a big deal for me. I can replace the switches. After extensively customizing and personalizing the keys, I don't think I will switch to a regular 104 keyboard. I use the Corne v4 with a Kensington ambidextrous. The keyboard is spread apart with the mouse in the middle. I get to switch hands on the mouse. It is worth the $89, compared to other, more expensive options. Read more

Received a faulty one. The right side worked but the left side didn’t. I tried connecting the usb cable to both left and right sides (with and without connecting the middle cable between the two parts), never worked. Tried with different cables on 3 different computers. 1-star because of the bad Quality Control process. Returned. Read more
