The Product is 3.5. but no option for it so 4. reasons as below: 1) this can only be mounted at the bottom. if you buy this and usb4 hub with dust filters, dust filter don't fit at the bottom due to the design. due to this the usb 4 hub goes on top and air flow is nearly non. 2) the temperature from this goes to its dust filter and from there to the usb 4 hub and from there to its dust filter and from there to Mac mini. I can see a rise of around 15 to 20 degrees for me. 3) Speed not sure but my read speed on 970 Evo Plus is around 3000 but write is only 1400-1600. not sure why. heating can be one of the issues I think. also because of dust filter, power Botton cannot be easily be accessible leading for us to lift the Mac mini and so this also stops use from putting Mac mini m4 in the middle. 4) You cannot touch it bare handed and needs to keep it out of sight of children, its like a constant 45 to 60 degree range cage. Could have been better if bottom would fit the dust filter stand. as Mac mini m4 fans would more are and deduce the heat spread. Read more

One of the nice touches and thought through features is the dustproof stand, which includes a clever silicone strip that directs airflow efficiently, helping with heat dissipation. It took me about 3 minutes to get it installed. Seeing the issues another reviewer had, I placed the SSD enclosure on top of the Mac mini allows the heatsink to push warm air upward, away from the device, which could be beneficial if your SSD tends to run hot. Mine seems to be staying relatively cool, so your mileage may ary. Performance-wise, while the enclosure supports speeds up to 3000MB/s, actual results may vary depending on your SSD. In my case, I achieved around 2600MB/s, which is still quite fast. and interfaces seamlessly with the Mini. The usb cord is thought out as well with one side flat and the other vertical. Yes, you could bend the cord, but the fact they thought this through - again - shows their attention to detail. There might be better value for your money, but I love this look and appreciate their attention to detail and it just works with everything being pretty much plug and play. Read more
