The silicone is soft and nice to the touch. The area where the button is feels a little on the thin side so I am not sure how it would hold up over time. I like that it's rechargable so there is no wasted batteries, the charging light is also a nice indicator. It's also loud - similar to an electric toothbrush. The modes are all pretty much high speed, with a some different patterns. I have scar tissue and arthritis in my hands, my PT uses a theraputic massage tool so this seemed like a good travel option. Perfect size and very comfortable to use. It’s easy to handle and quite enjoyable overall. I do wish the initial settings were a bit gentler, as they start off pretty strong. This has 10 various vibration modes, but I only really need 1 or 2 of them to help my TMJ and jawline, which is where the need lies. Something small and lightweight makes this easier so the size is perfect. The tip moves a bit so the flexibility moves the massager well along the chin and jaw, up into the jaw joints. The only issue is that it's fairly loud, particularly since it gets so close to my ears. But I can feel the muscles relaxing, so the noise is okay when compared to the relief of the massage. It charged up quickly and easily this first time. It seems well-made and sturdy - they state that it's waterproof, but I didn't test that. All in all, the size and power of this massager is great.
