This patio mister is a nice way to keep cool on a sweltering day. The mister comes disassembled and despite the instruction booklet it was confusing to try to understand how the base worked. I had to look up the item and review the pictures, initially it looks like they built it upside down. In the process of that one of the extension poles slid inside another and wouldn't come out, I had to take the tightener off to get it out, so be mindful not to let one post slip inside another and you can avoid that step. Once that was all figured out the rest was a breeze to put together. I slipped the hose onto the mister and the other end to the spigot. I didn't use any of the nylon tape or gaskets. Nothing leaked. The misting ends are long, bendable tubes with spray heads at the ends. There are 4 and they bend easily in any direction. The mist is very fine, it won't drench you, it will cool you off. I think this is a good addition to your outdoor area, it's small footprint means it doesn't take up a lot of space. This is great for anyone trying to cool off on a hot day, it's also great for pets, even my cats didn't mind the fine mist hitting them. You can alter the height of the mister with the adjustment screws which are easily turned as well as lowering the legs to go flat or raising them in a tripod. It comes with spikes you can use to keep it stable on a lawn. I wish it came with a storage pouch. It's also good for gardens! It works really well, helps you to be more comfortable. Read more
