I have several portable misting fans and there is much to like about this one. But the big shortcoming is poor quality control. On the 1st one, the control button had fallen into the body, making it unusable. Seller quickly replaced. 2nd one has loose parts that fell into the reservoir. Those I was able to get to and replace on the fan body. It was one of the water feed tubes to mister and a rubber plug to cover a screw hole. They are simply friction fitted and not initially pressed in tightly enough. What I like: o Large clear reservoir. Good for misting for ~20 hours (if only the battery lasted that long). You can easily remaining water level. Easy to fill even with ice cubes. o There is a hole in the bowl where the fan is stored. It's easy to add water while fan is in use by pouring into the bowl o Water is fed to misters using capillary action. This prevents any seeping from the misters which is a common problem with gravity fed misters o Dimmable night light adds a little ambience What could be better: o Build quality or quality control o Fan is noisy or unbalanced. On low, it vibrates due to the fan blade being unbalance. The vibration creates a hum louder than similar fans. On med and hi, the vibration is reduced (higher frequency and less resonant), but still noisier than similar fans What is just OK: o Short battery life. With fan on low and misting set to intermittent it lasts ~4 hours. Continuous misting reduces it to ~3.5 hours. o Fan tilts only a little bit before folding back into the body. The photos in the listing show the maximum it can tilt back. o The reservoir is not watertight. Once it's filled with water, it's difficult to move without spilling. So move it empty, set it down, then fill with water. Fair value for $27. Read more
