It's an amazing little unit when you consider what it does for the price. I'm quite happy with it. Two design flaws made this a 4-star review. The pale blue LED in the control button is very hard to see in bright direct sunlight. Also, the button feels really cheap, and the action feels imprecise and mushy. Also, the unit responds differently to a "long press" vs "short press." But if your short press is too short, the camera won't respond at all. It seems to want a medium-short press of at least 1/5 to 1/4 second or so. During my first outing with the camera, half the time it was off when I thought it was on, and vice versa. Picture quality was great. I still have to figure out a way for the camera to stop shaking. I used the magnetic necklace/lanyard and it was so bad that I can hardly discern any of the images. Haven’t tried the clip yet, but I think I would have to use it on a shirt pocket rather than clipping it to my jacket. Did that once with another model of body cam and results were not that great. First Impressions: - Camera is fairly small, measuring approx. 64.6mm x 28mm x 21.8mm and weighs a mere 37g. - The camera has a magnetic back so it can be stuck to any magnetic surface. - No screen or app available, so it’s a record and see what you recorded later scenario. - Magnetic neck mount allows you to wear the camera over a shirt without the need for an external clip/mount or even if you don’t have a shirt on. - Includes a 64GB MicroSD card. First Use: Before turning the device on, you need to edit the TIME.TXT file on the MicroSD card with the current date/time. You can also enable/disable the date/time watermark and set the record file time from 1min to 9mins. Once the date/time & setup is complete, a long press to turn it on and then a quick press to start recording. It vibrates and the LED turns to a flashing blue to notify you that it’s recording. There doesn’t seem to be a way to disable the flashing LED, so if you want to be more discreet, you’ll have to paint over or stick some tape over the LED. I tried with the magnetic necklace under my shirt and the camera attached to the top of my shirt and held in place without issue. Checking the video afterwards, I found the video fairly dark. I think there may be an issue with the default exposure settings as normal room lighting seems too dark. I later tested on a bright sunny day and that too did look darker than it should have been. Audio sensitivity seems ok but could have been a bit more sensitive. Speaking quietly 1ft behind the camera and it did pick up my voice, but slightly muffled. Left the camera recording and after 1h15min the camera started vibrating, light flashed green and blue and then it continued to flash blue. It will vibrate and flash green/blue after every 10mins. It ran for almost another 1hr before it powered itself off, so it looks like it can run for just over 2hrs. While charging the device it started to vibrate every few seconds as it did not have the memory card inserted. Once inserted, the vibrating stopped. This is good as it records in a loop, but also bad as it will overwrite the oldest files, so you may lose footage you want if you don’t backup the videos. - Approx. 2h15mins runtime on a full charge. Cons: - Under normal room lighting brightness, the videos appear darker than it should be. - There is no image stabilization, so the videos will shake quite a bit. - Flashing blue LED on the front, no way to disable to be more discreet. - Time/Date needs to be adjusted in the TXT file on the memory card so it won’t be 100% accurate as there may be a large delay from when you edit the file to when you when you start recording, but the good thing is, you only need to set it once as the camera will maintain time afterwards even after it has been powered off. - No screen or WiFi access to adjust settings or see what the camera is recording. - No auto-orientation, so if you clip the camera to your shirt in an angle, it will record the video in the same angle, so it’s not light a cellphone that changes from portrait to landscape modes. Final Impression: Overall, the BOBLOV W4 UHD Pro mini body camera worked OK. It provides you multiple ways to wear the camera and is compact enough so it’s fairly discreet, but the flashing LED on the front kind of gives it away. Although the video is clear (no pixilation), the videos are darker than it should be and there is no image stabilization, so everything is shaking in the recorded videos. This camera is perfect for walking around an amusement park or zoo with your family. Other compact action cameras are so big and bulky, it's obvious you have it out and are recording. This camera though is so small most people don't even notice it when I have it on my shirt. I can get all those precious family moments now easily without having to fumble around with a big huge camera or hold my phone up. The wearable clips work fantastically to keep the camera on my shirt or jacker, the neck mount is surprisingly comfy and easy to adjust to get the right fit. As far as image and video quality goes It's very good, I've got amazingly clear and crisp pictures from the 2k quality. The battery life like all action cameras is fairly short when at max settings but for its size and function I'm surprised to get more than 30 minutes of max settings footage. On high-def settings I can get closer to the advertised battery life though which is very nice and acceptable for what I need. All in all this is a great camera and I'm excited to start using it more and more as my kids get older and especially as the summer approaches. Read more

I am consistently having to look for this camera because the clip doesn’t hold onto anything. If I clip it on my shirt, within 10 minutes, the camera is missing because it has fallen off, and then I spend hours back tracking all of my steps, trying to find it. I have had this camera for four weeks now and have spent more time looking for it because of a poor quality clip, than I have using it. Yesterday I clipped it on my shirt to walk the dog and the camera is somewhere in the woods or neighborhood.
