I would have returned it cause the lid wouldn’t click shut it opened if you turned it upside down. I bought the Jack translucent powder and I didn’t have any trouble with it . But it’s not worth the trouble to go through the return just be weary that the lid for the Sally compact for blush and highlighter might be defective. Bought this for my 6 year old who loves Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas wanted some real make-up. She uses it as eyeshadow and loves it! I also like using the gold on my own eyelids. This is a brightly colored palette that stays true to the Nightmare Before Christmas theme. The blushes are very pigmented and intense; the highlighter is a little on the dry side and seems to contain tiny flecks of glitter. The highlighter is a little too gold for me, as my skin leans cool, and the gold is yellow-based. It works nicely lightly applied on top of the blushes, giving them a shimmer effect. The middle blush is a neutral-warm deep coraly pink, and the blush on the left is a cool magenta leaning more on the purple side. They can both be sheared out, making them workable for a a variety of skin tones. They also look beautiful mixed together. If you love Nightmare Before Christmas, then this is a fun, usable item to add to your makeup collection. Read more
