I love this radio! I originally got it because we often go to the drive in theater in the summer, and you need a radio to listen to the sound of the movie. It runs your car battery down to listen to the movie on your radio in the car. The portable radio is really the only way to go! This radio does so much more, though! I can now play my cassette tapes from the 80's once more! I have no idea why I held on to them, but I am so glad I did! You can also go modern and listen to music via USB or SD card. I love that there are so many choices! I like the simplicity of this radio. It doesn't feel foreign to me; it works much like the radios in the 80's did. It is easy to operate. The price of the radio was very reasonable. I can't believe how much money they want for a simple portable radio at the big box store! This radio is worth it! The sound quality is very decent. 1) a) Uses 4 x D batteries. I used AA to D adapters and just used rechargeable AA batteries. This worked just fine. 1) b) Can be powered by a USB-A charger using a USB-C to USB-C cable. Will not work with a USB-C charger (using a USB-C to USB-C cable). 1) c) A 3' 2" USB-A to USB-C cable is included. There is no USB-A charger included. 1) d) It would have been nice if there were a rechargeable battery built into the stereo. 2) The Rewind button is on the right and the Forward button is on the left for some reason. The Rewind button should be on the left. It has always been on the left. 3) The FM radio works great. It's crystal clear. 4) Plays my old cassettes just fine. 5) There is a record option for the tape. I guess you can record a song from the one of the other sources or from the radio just like the olden days. Just to be clear. I didn't try to record anything. I'm just taking a guess as to what this tape deck will record from. 6) Works great as a bluetooth speaker. I connected it to my phone and played some YouTube videos. 7) I didn't try playing music from a USB flash drive nor an SD card. It's easier to just play music from your phone via bluetooth.
