This is a beautiful, well-made retro style watch. It's also the best value mechanical chronograph available. I've kept it wound for a week now, and it has been keeping great time. The chronograph function works as it should, though I'm reluctant to use it very often. The movement as seen through the display caseback is simply mesmerizing. Unless you're used to wearing hockey puck-sized Invicta-like monstrosities, this watch will fit you just fine. It's a bit in the thick side thanks mainly to the beautiful domed crystal. The only size aspect that bothers me is the lug width. I think 20mm straps would look better on it. Read more

Se trata de una réplica del modelo sea-gull 1963, el primer reloj de manufactura 100% china de la historia. Está realizada por la Fábrica de relojes Tianjin, la misma casa que produjo las 1400 unidades hace más de 60 años y que sigue encargándose de su fabricación. El cronógrafo es de sólo 30 min., siguiendo las costumbre de la mayoría de relojes suizos de la época a los que imitaba. Era más económico así y para las misiones militares de la fuerza aérea para la que se diseñó este modelo, bastaba. Datos a tener en cuenta con este modelo: 1.- Réplica Oficial hecha por la fábrica original: - Se trata de la réplica oficial hecho por la fábrica de relojes Tianjin. 2.- Fijaos bien en los textos de la esfera - Debajo de la estrella superior indica "22 Zuan", 22 rubíes. En la mayoría de réplicas NO oficiales realizadas por otras compañías indica 21 Zuan - ¡Lo más importante!: en la parte inferior de la esfera hay dos líneas en chino: "中国" (Zhōngguó) – Significa "China". En la segunda línea dice: "天津手表厂" (Tiānjīn shǒubiǎo chǎng) – Significa "Fábrica de relojes de Tianjin". Orologio eccellente; un cronografo meccanico, addirittura con ruota a colonna, sotto le 200 euro è incredibile...fatto in Svizzera non basterebbe venti volte tanto! È spesso si, come tanti altri crono, ma la cassa lo rende molto molto più sottile, e l'aspetto è assolutamente vintage. Funzionamento ineccepibile e scarto giornaliero ben inferiore a 10 secondi. Difetti? Se consideriamo il prezzo nessuno anzi! Potrei dire che le finiture del movimento sono carine ma grossolane, però confrontate con orologi da 4.000/8.000 euro, e sarebbe scorretto. La storia dietro a questo pezzo è interessantissima, consiglio di informarsi, e per chi è proprio appassionato e vuole qualcosa di ancora più fedele ma vorrebbe un diametro maggiore (anche se io credo 38mm sia perfetto!) consiglio di guardare anche i D304 Seagull anche se saliamo di prezzo. P.s. , tempi rapidi, spedito direttamente dal produttore Seagull (che ricordo è il nuovo marchio di Tianjin, cioè chi li ha realizzati negli anni '60) e nessuna spesa extra a carico dell'acquirente come, su mia domanda, il venditore mi aveva prontamente confermato. I was truly impressed with this chronometer automatic watch. The chronometer function is essentially a stopwatch, with the second hand running the time. The actual second hand is the subdial at the 9 o'clock position. Being an automatic, give it a good 14 to 15 winds and the watch will run all day. Give it a good 10 winds the next morning and you're good to go. The crystal is such that it rises up, giving a slight magnification to the dial. The watch band is sufficiently long for my 9 1/2 inch wrist. The watch itself is small, and the band is narrow and slides behind the back of the watch in one piece instead of two. The cream dial and olive green band compliment each other well. The combination makes this a perfect everyday watch for work or to wear in a casual setting. Para aquellos que dicen que no es el original, decirles que es todo lo original que puede ser, ya que de la versión original solo se hicieron 1400 unidades...
