I am fairly satisfied with the cameras overall, for the price, and to have a stand alone unit with no subscription fees was my goal in buying these. I did have some issues at first, the cameras functioned, but after a couple of days, no video was being captured. Customer support was excellent to work with, and within a couple of days, they shipped a new base unit, and everything functioned fine. The video quality is pretty good, obviously probably not what you would get if you bought higher end systems, but it is plenty clear to identify people caught on camera. My one complaint with these would be the motion detection, it is not very consistent. One day they will trigger at every person that walks by, or every car that drives by. The next day they won't trigger until someone walks within 10 feet of the cameras. My assumption is that it has something to do with sunlight and shadows between the cameras and the objects. I find it best just to turn up the sensitivity all the way, and deal with the extra triggers from car traffic that I would rather not have. Read more
