This should have been a five-star review, as the fan is really well made, works great and has lots of functionality. Unfortunately, whilst there is a smooth transition in power levels from speed 1 to 3 and from 4 to 12, there is a significant step up between 3 and 4, where there should really be another setting in between those. There are temperatures for which 3 is a bit too soft but 4 is a bit too strong, so on certain days, you may find you can't access the appropriate power setting. Such a shame as, other than that, it's really good. I'd suggest to Levoit that they change the gearing, even if it means making settings 1 to 3 a little stronger, to smooth out the step from 3 to 4, since it's right in the range people will want, when using this as a fan for comfort (rather than having it at high power for circulation). Hi, I’ve tried to include a video comparing the bird song from the garden this morning and the fan noise the birds were much louder than the fan! Which hopefully comes out on the video for you. I’m a light sleeper but had this on the first setting all of last night and it didn’t bother me once! You ARE able to hear it, don’t get me wrong, but it’s a very slight fan noise (level 1) and shouldn’t be a problem. The air flow is REALLY good! And that was on the first setting! I didn’t find much cause for a higher setting last night level 1 was more than adequate. This fan was quite a lot of money for me, but early impressions are that it’s been worth it. I’ve tried numerous others which were fine during the daytime but not good for sleeping due to excessive fan noise. This fan feels well made although as they all tend to be it is mostly plastic which is fine, the base is weighted and feels heavy I guess it won’t topple over if it’s on the highest setting and oscillating so no worries there. I won’t be using the oscillating functions, there’s no need I’m in a small apartment but assuming over time that’s potentially an area that may need attention - working parts etc. other reviewers may be able to comment on that for you. I like that the remote control is small and light actually so no additional brick around my apartment. Much older people might struggle as it does have quite a lot of function buttons but in time and with practice should be fine. I have found the touch screen not as responsive to me so prefer the remote but that might be my circulation as I am older, something to perhaps ask the other reviewers about, hopefully it’s a case of getting used to it. It was packaged very well, lots of protection for transit, but for some reason Amazon decided to then put it in a giant box for delivery which the poor delivery driver had to carry. I would have been happy with an Amazon sticker on the original box, but guess that’s policy and not my call. Yes I DEFINITELY would recommend!! It does seem to be worth the money and feels like a quality product it has a number of functions you may find useful. I’m planning to just use it as a basic fan but from last night I can finally say I’ve found a bedroom fan that I can use that won’t disturb my neighbours and let the pigeons outside wake us all up instead! Very surprised at the power of this fan! If you want a light breeze it is so quiet up to around setting 4 or 5. There are 12 speeds and my goodness it can shake the room! It almost took a picture off my wall so be mindful where it’s angled. The only thing I would have preferred would’ve been a bit more height. Read more

The best fan I've ever purchased I used to keep my £20/25 fans on close enough 24/7, so having a timer on this fan is really useful. It's very quiet. The settings are great. You have the option for it to rotate left to right and up and down, which is why. It's a 10/10 fan from me. I also got it at a price when it had a discount, so I got it for roughly £86, which makes the purchase ten times better. If you are tempted to buy it, do it! Nicely delivered by Amazon, straightforward to assemble. Can be used as a normal left to right fan or auto mode pushing air up, down & all around. Levels 1 to 3 are silent giving gentle wind, 4 & up are real cooling levels that are noisier, fastest 12 is a tornado - hot day gardening, this will cool u off in a second. Definitely the best fan out there for the price, quality engineering & doesn't rattle or squeak. Remote is cute & works a treat.
