I love this case and its freedom to remove the iPad from the flap is so nice. Have had at-least 6 months and have had minimal wear and tear on it (hand full of scuffs, ink splatter from pen explosion and and some backpack glitter shown in pictures ).The magnate pencil holder has kept my pen secured and I have no concerns of loosing it. It’s relatively light weight for a iPad case.fits tightly on my iPad and does not impede the buttons. Though I have not intentionally tested it, it seems to have kept my iPad safe in impact and jostling in backpack. Note I have never straight up dropped so don’t know if it’s reliable there. Just as expected, being a confident user of ESR products from the past and now getting a new iPad Pro on silver color, i really wanted the finish to shine that’s why i went with this option with the clear back instead of the other one that covers all the ipad, can’t remember the name but i mean that one also looks good and its got more angle options and looks sturdier but honestly, this one is just perfect, the clear back then it doesn’t add too much bulk to the newer and thinner IPad, it feels like the perfect balance between thinness and protection and again it looks amazing!. There’s a video of some lady stating that the flap that covers the pencil doesn’t snaps, it does, you just need to really snap it into place and it will stay there.
