These fit my vitpilen 401 perfect. Theyre made fairly heavy, good hardware. I'm not sure how much damage they would prevent if I was to drop the bike, but I'm guessing they could help the motor from getting truly scuffed up. You be the judge on using them for that purpose. That being said, the machining quality, fit, and finish, is great. They definitely aren't TRUE crash guards that connect to the frame of the motorcycle for a large amount of protection, but here's hoping they can help at the very least cosmetically if I was to drop the bike at any speed. Hopefully I'll never need to test that. Hardware included, made well, appear to be anodized(?) and not powder coated, 10 minute install. Full winner in my book. Read more
