Even without dedicated sub there's punch in bass - Looks beautiful in white finish and and the mirror lights takes it to the next level Cons: - Light effects have a lot of room for improvement. Except 1 or 2 styles, they aren't suitable for music visualization. Even for those 1 or 2 styles, the light response carries significant latency and sensitivity to match the music. Fix this and and it will be killer product - Some use cases(gaming, heavy metal etc) need software EQ to do justice to the output Overall for a smallish room I couldn't find a better alternative with a minimalist white finish and respectable sound quality in this price range. I got the white out set up with my computer desk in front of ikea kallax from ceiling to floor. The design with the infinity lighting is absolutely mint. It has different settings for different light shows. I just keep it set to a volume display. It takes me back to the old school stereos that just have the decibel lights on the equalizer, or the old winamp visualizers. The sound it great!!! My son came in when i had left to go pick up Pizza and I had them still playing. He said, wow, they are so clear. I assume they are supposed to be run with a sub. When i came home and cranked them up, he said, "oh, well, there's the base. Maybe they would be fine alone. Kinda with him.
