It works!!! After trying to decide which replacement remote I was getting this time, thanks to my children who seem to lose them regularly, I settled on this one. I am so glad I did! It took me 2 times to get it to pair with the FireTV, but not a big deal. The instructions are simple. The most difficult part is pressing 3 buttons at once. Even though the instructions say it is only compatible with specific brands of televisions, it still worked with mine. I’m glad to report it works with my 20 year old Pioneer. Also, I didn’t realize that the remote even has the Alexa find my remote feature. That’s an amazing feature children or adults who regularly misplace it. Volume control works well too. I’ve had remotes that only adjust the volume in increments of two. This one allows me to adjust it in increments of one. Finally, the remote doesn’t feel cheap. If I needed this 10 more time - I would buy it. I have only had it for 2 minutes. It's already paired and the number functions worked without me having to reprogram anything. I was pleased that it was not easy for the cover to come off. It has s nice smooth but textured feel. And most importantly - I only have to press the button once. My previous remote - made my fingers build muscles lol - from pressing 1 button 5 times to make it work.
