I thought I would like this laptop, as it was affordable and had the specs I wanted. It seemed to be made of cheap materials, which I expected due to the price, however, the screen quality was what killed the deal. The viewing angle was impossible to work with - if I tilted the screen up, then it would get dark. Conversely, if I tilted it down, it would get washed out. If there was an angle I could look at it without having the top of the screen tinted dark and the bottom tinted white, I never found it. I ordered a different one, thinking the bad screen quality on mine was a fluke, but nope. Same problem. Back to Amazon they went! Another issue I found was that with the second machine I got was that it refused to do a factory reset. The first machine I got reset in only a half hour, which is normal. With the second machine, however, it was "resetting" for over 8 hours straight. I forced it to shut down (which is definitely not recommended in most cases btw), and after 8 hours of going through the reset process you would think that something would have happened, right? Nope, the laptop was running exactly the same as it was before the reset. I tried to reset it 2 more times before giving up and clearing out the machine manually as best I could and sending it back to Amazon. The description is not clear. In the video it is described as a touchscreen and it is not. Also, no back-lit keyboard. False description. Took an hour to update and found it out. No compensation for inconvenience, I was told you can return it. No replacement option. Read more
