I was not sure if I would like a "smart " pill organizer as I have only used the old fashioned plastic kind before. But I have to say I really like this organizer. First, it is fairly large in size which is both good and bad. It's good as it holds quite a few number of pills in the individual compartments. However, due to its size it may be a little cumbersome for travel. One drawback for me is that I take a number of pills twice a day (in the morning and evenings) there is only one row of compartments so if I put my morning hand full of pills in a compartment there is no place to put the evening pills. But for individuals who only take pills once a day, this would be perfect. This is not cheaply made and appears quite sturdy. You download the accompanying app to your phone and do everything from there. The set up is fairly easy and does not take much knowledge of how electronics works but I wonder if elderly people might have an issue setting it up and using their phone to set alarms to take their pills. Unlike a few reviews already made on this product, I haven't had any issues with it. Setting the clock and alarms isn't the most intuitive process, but I still figured it out without reading the instructions. You do need to download the app to get this product working and you can easily find it by scanning the 2D barcode on the product lid. The app is actually downloadable from the Google App Store, so there are no squirrely apps to download from a strange website. The app is really easy to use, but it needs to be connected to the pill box. 1. Open the app on your tablet or phone 2. Open the lid of the pill box, and you are connected. There really isn't a whole lot you can do on the app, so it's really straight to the point. You add a reminder and inside this process, you can add as many medications as you want as well as the number of each pill. For example) 9:00 1) Medicine 1 -- 2 pills 2) Medicine 2 -- 1 pill 3) Medicine 3 -- 3 pills You can delete and add to the reminder at any time. When the pill box alarm goes off, you simply open the lid, take your pill and close the lid. The product will display "Completed" on it and it knows you took your pills. Overall, the electronics work well. If you are setting this up for an elderly person, I would give them some instructions. Now the product as a pill box is good as well. The slots are rather narrow, but they are deep. You can stick plenty of pills in this product without any issues. One downfall of this product is you will not be able to run in through the water in the sink to clean it. The pill tray is not removable, so you will need to use soap and a damp cloth. It's not that big of a deal. The product case is also well protected. I would say it is the most protected pill case I have ever used. Overall, it is a nice pill case to have. These come particularly handy when you are required to take a course of pills you usually don't take. I'm thinking like an antibiotic. This item is great for keeping track of your meds. The other smart pill organizers are so expensive so I started out with this one.. but like anything, you get what you pay for. The inside where the organizer is, is very cheap and one of the tabs broke literally the first time I tried opening it. So just be careful with them and it'll be a lifesaver! Read more

This thing has an impressive battery, Tesla should hire the engineering team to fix their batteries. I have had this for like 3 or 4 months if not longer and I have only charged it twice. I got annoyed with the alarm going off every morning and just let it set until the battery died. It didn't die. The battery symbol flashed empty for several weeks before I finally gave up and charged it. The app isn't bad, it's a little basic but I like that it doesn't require a log in to use the app. I can just open it and set my schedule. This device has helped me stay on my medication consistently. I described the alarm as annoying, that's because it won't stop until you open the pill compartment and close it. But this is a feature I need or I'll miss my medicine. Read more
