First of all, I mistakenly ordered two (2) of these leg pillows. Returned one to Kohl’s yesterday without a problem and my Amazon account was credited by the evening. Pillow ordered to ease pressure on my right knee after replacement surgery. Upon opening the box the pillow arrived in, I was amazed at how small it had been compacted. Carefully cutting open the plastic bag I could hear a “whooshing” sound. Set the pillow aside overnight. I didn’t experience any off putting smells as others have reported. I removed the pillow cases and washed them then hung them up to air dry. (DO NOT DRY IN A DRYER). When it came to placing the foam cushions (3) back in the pillow case, it was like wrestling a monkey with two tails 😂🐒. I found the best way was to fold each foam piece in half, stuff it into the pillow case, straighten it out to fit then repeat two more times. The cool foam cushion (separate) was thin and so much easier to get into the separate pillow case. My convertible chair/bed is arriving today so that’s my next task. Rearranging my space in the living room (getting rid of junk) and setting the chair up. Seeing as how the chair when folded out to a bed is 75” long so might have to move a coffee table a bit. With respect to the leg pillow, looking forward to using them tonight for the first time. The entire package looks well made and I would recommend it for anyone having gone through TKR (Total Knee Replacement) or other ailments. Read more

Pro: soft, easily removable/washable cover. Strong, detachable foam layers, very comfortable. Sturdy straps to pull pillow in the right direction. Con: zipper not sturdy, snags. Cooling pillow topper will not stay on & slides constantly off - waste of material. While the idea of having 3 different foam layers to create various heights is excellent, the cover is not adjustable and after a short while, the layers move apart which affects the height & sturdiness of the pillow. This product is so much easier for the patient to use than regular pillows that keep slipping out from underneath your legs. With this pillow and the handles attached, the patient can pull it up to them at their comfort level and you can carry the pillow to different rooms to use for elevation of your legs. I love this wedge! It's big, super soft & comfy and the cooling pad is amazing! I've been using it every night since I received it. My three cats also love it! I have not taken anything apart to adjust the size. I'm 5'6" and have used this exactly the way it came. It's a little bit bulky underneath a blanket. It moves very easily on a bedsheet but it also doesn't move or get kicked out while you sleep. I got this for my son to use as he is getting a procedure done this week and will need his legs elevated for his back. I chose this because of the variable heights. What's good for one isn't going to be good for another. I have back problems and have tried MANY products to elevate my legs and hated them all. This reminds me of those cushions they put under your legs when you're getting an x-ray or cat scan. Comfortable ... will last a while. My only con ... and it's strictly personal not a reflection of the product ... is storing after use. It's very large and I live in a tiny tiny house with little storage space. Read more

Overall my wife loves this wedge since her knee surgery. The 4th 2" layer is super soft. The other 3 layers that fit in the sleeve are soft too just not as soft as the 4th layer. Some minor issues I have is the zipper seems cheap and is hard to open and close and the layers that fit in the sleeve are hard to get in and anything short of all three layers and the sleeve is baggy. My husband is modeling the pillow but I’m the main user. I’ve suffered sacroiliac (where the lower back meets the pelvis) joint pain for a decade and this leg pillow has helped on my bad days. I actually use it backwards so the flat part is towards my tush. I used to put my legs up on piles of pillows or put our adjustable bed up but those just don’t work as well. The bed doesn’t go up high enough or at enough of an angle to let my legs rest and the pillows were hard to get to stay put and this leg rest solves that. It stays put, is soft enough while still being firm, and is just the right size for me. Now, it does say it’s adjustable in height but I haven’t needed to take out any height so I haven’t tried that feature. I am so, so glad that I tried this out and I wish I’d had it years sooner! This is a great product! Very helpful in helping me recover from a broken ankle. I sat it on my knee scooter in front of my place on the couch and bridged it to the couch so that I could keep my ankle elevated. It's wide enough for both feet which is more comfortable for me. And it's adjustable so I took out the bottom wedge for comfort and my height. I will use this for years to come regardless of my healing. Whenever I need to elevate, this is perfect!
