I'm really pleased with this bassoon. It has even intonation throughout, solid keywork and good rollers. Easily compares to the renard I played in college. This bassoon is worth every penny. It comes from China in a cardboard box. The case is good quality and protects it well. No need to upgrade the case. Had trouble finding the bocals when I first opened the instrument. They're in pillows in the outer pocket. Only came with one really poor quality reed. So definitely need to invest in reeds or reed making. It does not come with a wing joint swab.
