All good, much better than all other ricecookers we had, will starting using it for steaming veggies too.No sticky rice crust at the bottom, love it

It just stopped working all of a sudden. It was used twice a week only, so after 8 uses, it stopped working completely.

I recently purchased the Hamilton Beach 1.5L Rice Cooker and Steamer, and unfortunately, my experience with it has been less than satisfactory.While the design is sleek and compact, and the price point is appealing, I encountered consistent issues with rice burning on the bottom after cooking. Despite following the recommended water-to-rice ratio and cleaning the cooker thoroughly before each use, I found that the rice consistently stuck to the bottom and developed a burnt layer, which affected the taste and texture of the rice.I attempted various troubleshooting methods, including stirring the rice halfway through cooking and adjusting the cooking settings, but the problem persisted. It seems that there may be a flaw in the design or functionality of the rice cooker's heating element, as the heat distribution appears to be uneven, resulting in unevenly cooked and burnt rice.Overall, while I appreciate the affordability and convenience of this rice cooker, I cannot overlook the significant issue of burnt rice.
