Every attachment you could ever need is included, and the case has a pocket for literally every attachment. It’s pricy, but the second you open the pkg, it’s easy to see why. I had Philips with laser light projector since 2014/2015. Not that it was a super helpful perk, more a marketing gimmick, but that particular model was the best until I got Braun Series 9. Philips still works, but battery life drooped and cannot be used any more. Newer Philips models are trash. My Panasonic ER-GK80 is much longer in size but good. One caveat though, due to smaller sized blades it does rip off hair from time to time, but no cuts ever. Also Panasonic has a comb type grip which is less convenient compared to the straight-on that Philips and Braun employ. Braun 9 comes with a compact shell case that fits in all the accessories it comes with and there are way more than I need or intend to carry. Battery life is great and if the declared 180min battery life will drop only to 90min in 5 years, it would be my next favorite trimmer since Philips. -1 star for lack of USB-C, had to buy small adapter to simply charge it from any other USB device charger in the house and keep the bulky socket adapter at home. This device was priced very similar to the Conair (which I’ve returned after it stopped working after the first try). (This was written after about three months of use.) I have a thick beard and was looking for something beyond the typical 10mm lengths. This fit that bill spectacularly. I tried or evaluated a few alternatives (Philips, Wahl, other Brauns, and some smaller brands) and found them all lacking in some key metric or usage. I would absolutely recommend this option, even at the higher price point. Pros: - Strong motor has no issues cutting a lot of hair with single pass - Battery lasts a while without charging, and the charge indicator is a really helpful detail - Accessories cover everything I need without a lot of extras (certainly less than some alternative products, like the fancy Philips or Wahls) - Adjustable length guards are solid, don't bend, and I certainly don't notice any vertical wobble (meaning variation in the length while trimming), even with force applied. - Shaver attachment is better than my old one, and works reasonably well. - Easy to use. You might think this would be the default, but see my review of the Wahl I tried for how to fail at this. - Waterproof is the best thing ever. Not that I expected this to fail here, just saying how much I like this feature. Cons: - Trimming a line without the guards doesn't result in the sharpest line ever; the Wahl was much better here. - The shaver works, but it's not the best one ever (though of you're buying this for the shaver, maybe consider a dedicated electric razor) - I'm not sold on the necessity of the length-lock feature. Is this a con? Well, you pay more for it, so it is in that sense, but it definitely speaks to the quality of the attachment mechanism that it doesn't slip readily without the lock enabled. However, I'm betting that this will be more useful as the trimmer ages. - I have a similar feeling about the power-lock feature. Is this really a feature when there's a hard case? Not for me, personally. - The case is middling. It's a hard shell, which is really nice, but I cannot figure out how to nicely store more than the razor, two or three attachments, and the large length guard. Do I need more than that? Maybe not. But it's still a bit of a let down. - Charging with a standard plug instead of USB-C is disappointing. Though because the battery lasts so long, it's not a deal breaker. Overall, definitely a positive experience with this trimmer. Would recommend. Read more

I paid such hefty price assuming that the main device is made in Germany. Greatest disappointment was when I found "assembled in mexico" mentioned on packing box. When I unboxed the package I found even bigger disappointment as it was mentioned "made in china" on the main device. I used /tested the device,the initial quality appears to be Ok. The eva HARDCASE Enclosure quality is good but quite heavy. Only one zipper has been provided for the case-I was expecting two zippers in a high quality eva case. Read more
