My husband is converting a dual carb Honda XR250 into a single carb model. This carb fit perfectly and was easy to install. It's a really aesthetically pleasing carb, with the clear bowl on the bottom. The fact that hit comes with a variety of different jets is really nice as well. What my husband didn't like is the coating they applied to the carb. It's some sort of metallic coating that they applied to the exterior of the carburetor. On the unit we received, it looks like they also applied it to some of the smaller inner passageways, and in one spot it appears to be separating from the base materials and he is worried it may eventually come loose completely and block one of the inner passageways. He hasn't tested it yet, so we don't know yet if it'll be a problem. Overall, he really loves the way it looks. He just wishes that it didn't have that coating on it. Read more

This carburetor is not a MIKUNI it's a MAKUNI with a A not a I. It's a extremely cheap piece of junk..... Leaks, does not come with all the parts that's advertised. It's a scam! Your carburetor is the heart of your engine. Buy a real MIKUNI or at least another quality brand. Read more
