I have very sensitive eczema prone skin and as such have had a lot of difficulty finding a facial hair remover product for my chin. For more than a decade I’ve resorted to using shavers to remove the hair and the shavers worked well, but they leave me with bumps and hyperpigmentation. As we age sometimes we get those dark stubborn pesky chin and neck hairs. I’m tired of shaving, plucking, and using an epilator. I’ve used hair removal creams in the past but they always burned my skin and caused severe irritation and pain. I saw this product, read the reviews and did further research before buying. I was really rooting for this product to be safe for sensitive skin! Boy was I wrong! The product doesn’t have a strong order, and didn’t burn at first until time to rinse. I chose to damp cotton pad vs. a wash cloth, to reduce irritation, to wipe the product off. Let the burning and irritation begin! I couldn’t wipe the product off fastest enough once it started burning. After removal of the product, the burning was still there and so were all the hairs. It didn’t remove a single one! Only thing this product did was burn, cause irritation and make the dark hairs on my face stand at attention. The hairs are way more visible and sharp. The five o’clock shadow and stubble are real! Flamingo is my GO-TO for hair removal. I used to wax my upper lip but i realized i had extremely sensitive skin so naturally, i started using Nair. now Nair, once it’s opened, it seems to start losing its quality of hair removing power. it’s not something i use every day so after a month i would try using it and it’s not working as good as it first did. when i discovered flamingo, i did not look back. it’s great for my sensitive skin, and it WORKS no matter how long it’s opened. it comes with the cooling gel that is nice but not really necessary lol. i’ve tried the body stuff and i haven’t been able to figure it out with how long my hair has to be / how much time it has to be on. i know the face stuff works GREAT and it’s a quick 10 minutes and all the hair comes off. you don’t have to lay it on crazy thick either. great product. This stuff is actually great! It had a very light scent that was not awful, as a sensitive, redheaded girl it definitely did not irritate my skin, and there were no burning or tingling sensations! I saw this product on Instagram so I found it here. I always looked for something to assist with my facial hair issue. I've tried everything from Nair to Umberelle and now Flamingo. I made the purchase during prime in July. So I caught a bundle pack. 1st application with the first box nothing if minimal hair came off. So u waited, tries it a few days ago with the 2nd box which worked but I needed to leave the cream on for 20mins. With the excess amount of cream it recommends the product shouldn't take that long to work. It's a lite smell not to strong of the chemical used in Nair. So here's how it turned out. Well, this one was disappointing. I was hopeful after seeing positive reviews here and on TikTok. After following the directions, it *did* remove my peach fuzz on my upper lip. It did burn that area, though, and I needed the soothing serum on that, which weirdly also burned going on. However, the cream only made a small dent in the coarse PCOS hairs on my chin and neck. I have been getting my chin waxed for over 10 years. I was getting tired of going to get my chin waxed every 1-2 weeks and I wanted to save money, so I bought this product after seeing it on TikTok. FOR ME, it definitely belongs in the trash! FOR ME, on my first use, it didn’t remove all of the hair. I tried it 72 hours later and let it stay on for a little bit longer and it was worse, peach fuzz everywhere the next day that was very noticeable with my skin complexion. I was growing hair in places I never had it before. I had to call in for an emergency chin wax! I work in the medical field and I am constantly interacting with people in close proximity. I have now went back to getting my waxes because I cannot be walking around looking crazy with chin hairs! OMG! I love this product. It’s such a great alternative to shaving. The product does not have a strong smell like other products like Nair do. It does have a very minimal smell but it didn’t bother me. I will say it works the best after several days of hair growth rather that just stubble. I have the hardest time find a hair removal cream that works for my hair since it's so thick and this just melted it all away. I did have to leave it on for an extra 5 min but there was no bad reaction. I 100% would work slowly since everyone is different don't go for 10 min right away start at 5 and move up. 100% recommend a patch test! Read more

I have a beard. I have PCOS. It's rough and course. This product is basically the same as nair. It burns the hair off. It will cause a slight chemical burn. I saw a woman on tiktok use it that said it takes it off at the root. That's false. It just burns the bit that's on top. I still have stubble. It's rough. I get a smoother feel with a razor. Instructions: it says to keep it on for 5 minutes. I tried 5 minutes and it only took off a little. So I put some more on the patches and left it for 2 more minutes. Use a warm soft rag and wipe against the grain. Then rinse with plane warm water. Pat dry. Apply the calming stuff. It all stinks. Like really bad. Read more

I have coarse upper lip and chin hair. I used Nair for years. We parted ways when I found another product that I liked better and used it for years. It went out of production during the pandemic-sic. It's supposed to return to stock September '24. In the meantime I found this in the local Target. It will remove most of the hair if I leave it on for 15mins. It might remove it all if I give it another 5 mins, but I've been too chicken to try that-lol. I'm thankful that my skin doesn't burn and that most of the hair is removed in 15 minutes. The product itself is alright - it does the job and the scent is pleasant. The applicator - the angled smooth plastic tip like a lip gloss applicator - just does not help you in the process. For as much product as you need for it to be effective, you're better off squeezing it into a pea-sized dollop on your finger and then spreading it thickly on your skin.
