Off and on, I've been using my trusty old Nettie Pot for years - using distilled water and saline. I tend to use it more in the winter when the heat is on. The pot really helps me to avoid sinus infections. I did not know that there were products like Otomar Adults Total Care Nasal Sprays on the market!! I love this product!! At first, I was a little afraid to spray up my nose but once I did, I was amazed at how easy this is to use. No mixing for my Nettie Pot. Just grab this and it's ready to use. I have mostly used the daily moisturizing spray. I have been very happy with it. I love how it makes my nasal passages feel. I have had struggles ever since I suffered with Covid so keeping my nasal passages moist and moisturized has been very helpful. These cans are a Larger can weighing 4.2 ounces in size. They are very easy to use because the tip of the nozzle is angled. All you need to do is twist the nozzle to get the amount of spray that you want so it is very easy and convenient to operate. This is a good set of nasal spray...this time of year is rough with allergies especially if you need a cpap to sleep...the daily hygiene spray helps me have a clear sinus at bedtime so I can wear my cpap and breathe comfortably... Nasal irrigation is a great way to naturally treat seasonal allergies and stuffy noses. I have used squeeze bottles and Netti pots in the past. Those work, but you have to mix the salt solution and be sure to use sterilized or reverse osmosis water to prevent infection. This product allows you to simply Irrigate without all the prep work. The blue canister has a lower level salt solution and the cold and flu red label is a higher % salt solution. I like the effects of the higher salt solution even when I’m not experiencing cold symptoms. The bottles are under pressure but the pressure is light and comfortable. The spray nozzle is at an angle, which makes it easy to hold. You can adjust for a small amount of fluid or more by twisting the nozzle, this would be a great way to introduce children or people who have never used nasal irrigation to the process because it is gentle, more convenient and less messy. I have only used the blue (daily) spray so far and I love it. For me the neti pot is a lot of work to use on a daily basis (making sure it's cleaned and stored properly each time, etc.) This gives me a great clean inside my nose and no prep or clean up afterward. I have been using it during allergy season after I have been outdoors or after airplane rides and it feels great. Cleans out the nose yet the spray feels nice and leaves you with nice moisture after. I have tried regular saline nose sprays in the past and was not impressed but I will buy these again for sure, they are definitely different! Read more
