I can now use all of my current NVMe drives thanks to the adapter's support for M.2 PCIe 4.0/3.0 SSD soft RAID setup in both Windows and Linux.One important thing to note is that you'll need a PCIe bifurcation motherboard to use this adapter, as it doesn't have a PCIe splitter function. This card works great. It is compatible with NVMe M.2 ssd drives and plugs into an open Pci-e x16 slot (either Gen4 or Gen3). The BIOS needs to support Bifrucation in order to use more than 1 SSD slot at a time. It does support software RAID 0,1, and JBOD. And for the PCI-e Gen4 requires intel processor generation 11 or higher, as 10 or lower support pci-e gen3 . Overall, 4 star good quality card.

As long as the motherboard supports bifurcation, this card will just work. I dropped it into one of my home lab servers with four 2TB NVMe SSDs and setup ZFS RAID (in OS) and use this for virtual machine storage. SO much faster than the spinning rust drives I had in there and now much quieter, cooler, and less power consumption. A win all the way around!

Needed to expand an old (ish) HP Z440 and add NVMe drives. Bought this to add 2 drives to the PC and realised it holds for so I'm more than happy. Amazing kit and works bang on - even recognised in Opencore when building a Hackintosh from the HP Z440.

I requested the GLOTRENDS Quad M.2 PCIe NVMe Adapter for a PC build that I am currently working. Well, not really a PC but a server board in a network rack.
