I needed to get one of these plastic toy things for my PC because I was playtesting a game that demanded a controller. I hate controllers. They're an awful way to play games. The thumbsticks are horribly imprecise, and your shoulders are all hunched up, so you get back ache. Give me a mouse and a keyboard ANY day. However, I have had a few controllers over the years, mainly because I feel I have to have one to be "a gamer"... But I don't tend to use them. I've had a logitech wingman, a SNES-shaped one, a Logitech F-170 which was utter garbage (a shame), a Retrobit Legacy 16 and an XBox controller. Plus, of course, the controllers with the SNES, Atari 2600 and PS1 and PS2. So, although I hate the blasted things, at least I've had some experience with them. The Xbox controller was the most recent addition. I got it for my son to play GRIP Racing on his laptop. He kinda likes it, but he's got used to WASD+Mouse too, so finds the controller a bit restrictive. So I ended up playing with his XBox controller. I quite liked it. It had a weight to it, and the buttons had a positivity to them. So, when I had to get one for my laptop for this plaaytesting I thought I'd try to go "top of the line" and get an Elite 2. Well, I can confirm, it feels pretty darn good. although it's the same hand-crampy shape and size of a usual controller, it's really hefty. It feels solid, not plasticcy at all. The grips are grippy, and the magnetic snap-on thumbsticks and d-pad are lush to look at. Being able to adjust the force of the buttons is a lovely feature. I've set them to "middle" which feels good for me. The Core edition doesn't come with the back-paddles, but they can be bought separately for £9 (get the metallic ones!). I have to admit I'm very impressed with it. Aiming is still an absolute shambles, but that's a problem with trying to use a thumbstick. The buttons and controls otherwise feel really solid. It screams quality. I can see why it's more expensive than the standard controller. Given the magnets and snap-on configurability of it, I can see why it's as expensive as it is. It's a nice piece of well-engineered kit. It'll never replace a Kbd+Mouse for me, but if I have to play a game with a controller, I'm playing it with this! Nothing else comes close! Read more

Jakoś wykonania zpasowania, wykonania Pad 10/10 bardzo solidnie wykonany i wart każdej złotówki. Bateria 10/10 nie pamiętam kiedy ostatnio go ładowałem! Dokupiłem do niego dodatkowe łopatki ale używam tylko 2 szt zamiast 4 ponieważ zbyt często podczas grania przypadkowo je wcisnąłem ale same łopatki działają bez zarzutu od oceny się wstrzymam bo nie będzie to udczyciwa ocena. Do pada wróciłem po kupnie Turtle beach stealth ultra który posiada mechaniczne przyciski i szereg zaj.... Uprawnień ale po 3 tyg okazało się że turtle zchrzaniło robotę i wypuścili nie dopracowanego pada :(. Jedyny minus ale to się tyczy wszystkich padów od PS5, PS4, Xbox wersji Elite czy EDGE analogi w tych padach po wyjęciu z pudełka mają Stick drift każdy nowy Pad, w mniejszym lub w większym stopniu ale wymiana analogów na Hala w serwisie który specjalizuje się w tym powoduje że mamy niezniszczalnego pada i nie ma mowy o drifcie na analogach Hala. Co prawda turtel beach ma analogi hala i totalne zero driftu ale Ale! Analogi potrafią czasami (szczególnie prawy Analog) potrafi za świrować no przepraszam bardzo w padzie za 900 zł? Po wymianie analogów w Elite Core na hala takiej sytuacji nie ma!! aczkolwiek w Turtle beach stealth ultra były jeszcze inne nie doróbki jakościowe ale tą opinie wystawie później co tam jest sp... Hace tiempo que iba detrás de este mando ya que quería un mando definitivo para jugar en PC y que no tuviera problemas de compatibilidad ni configuraciones... y el mando para xbox es lo mejor porque windows lo detecta solo. Finalmente al verlo de oferta, me decidí a comprarlo. Las primeras impresiones al sacarlo de la caja son muy positivas. Ya a simple vista rezuma calidad por todas partes, pero cuando lo tienes en la mano, es otro nivel. Es un mando para durar, de muy buenos materiales, extremadamente robusto y cómodo. El tacto en general es una pasada, desde el tacto de la cruceta, los analógicos, los gatillos... todo, es prácticamente perfecto. El poder configurar el recorrido de los gatillos, al principio no le vi mucha utilidad, no entendí muy bien para qué lo iba a usar... pero empecé a jugar al Red dead redemption 2, y ahí le vi el sentido. El gatillo para disparar lo puse al recorrido más corto. En cambio jugando al Forza, para usarlo como acelerador, le puse el máximo recorrido para simular la pisada gradual del pedal. Vamos, me ha encantado, no pensé que el poder elegir el nivel de presión iba a ser tan útil. Lo mismo se puede hacer con los analógicos, algo que no sabía y me ha sorprendido bastante. Sacando los analógicos, giras un tornillito y se le puede dar más o menos resistencia. Una pasada. Otro punto que es una pasada es que los gatillos y la cruceta van pegados de forma magnética, pero no lo parece porque quedan muy estables y bien fijados. Por poner un punto negativo. El mando pesa. Se nota que pesa bastante más que el mando estándar de xbox. En definitiva, este mando es subir bastante de nivel. No voy a jugar mejor de lo que ya juego, pero sí que es un gustazo el notar la calidad del tacto y los botones cuando juegas. A parte de poder ajustar varias partes. Vengo dalla versione "base" del controller Xbox Serie S/X, già di per sè ottimo per del gaming non intensivo su PC, ma visto che sto lentamente upgradando la postazione ho deciso di valutare la versione Elite 2, complice anche un sostanzioso sconto. Preciso che questa con il controller bianco è la versione Core, quindi nella scatola troverete solo il joypad e un lungo cavetto USB telato per la ricarica; niente paddle, levette extra, base di ricarica o custodia. Per quegli accessori dovete puntare alla versione Elite Series 2 (generalmente venduto in colorazione nera, e senza la scritta Core sulla scatola). Perchè precisarlo? Perchè nel caso si volesse fare l'upgrade in un secondo momento potrebbe non essere più così vantaggioso: il bundle di accessori aggiuntivi ufficiale si aggira sui 60€, comprensivo di basetta di ricarica, custodia rigida, cavo USB, paddle posteriori, levette analogiche sostitutive di vario tipo e chiavetta per calibrare la durezza degli analogici stessi. La versione base è comunque di tutto rispetto. Molto più solido e compatto del "fratello minore", l'Elite 2 monta finalmente una batteria integrata, impugnatura gommata, stick e croce direzionale magnetici facilmente sostituibili e possibilità di regolare individualmente la corsa dei grilletti in tre posizioni tramite piccoli interruttori posteriori. Si può configurare la classica corsa lunga, media, oppure selezionare l'ultima posizione che rende il grilletto più simile a un bottone dorsale. Comoda anche la possibilità di impostare e salvare più profili e passare direttamente dall'uno all'altro in-game premendo il tasto centrale piccolo (quello che nella versione base era invece dedicato alla condivisione immagini). Si può anche impostare il colore del led del pulsante di accensione per riconoscere i profili, o anche solo per cambiare un minimo l'estetica del controller. Anche i tasti principali sono tutti completamente riconfigurabili. Per personalizzarli però è necessario passare attraverso l'applicazione dedicata (Accessori Xbox), tramite la quale è possibile aggiornare i driver mentre il controller è collegato con il cavo USB (non è possibile farlo attraverso la connessione Bluetooth). In definitiva, l'Elite 2 Core vale la spesa? Se avete intenzione di giocare in modo intensivo probabilmente sì. Piacevolissimo da maneggiare, la connessione BT dopo l'aggiornamento driver va che è un piacere e l'autonomia è ottima. Let's start off with the good points. Great grip, feels premium quality, adjustable triggers is a good touch, and all around feels sturdy. However. Microsoft have cheaped out as usual. Firstly, it doesn't include the paddles. Fair enough but come on, wouldn't cost them $1 to add them to an already expensive controller. Secondly, my buttons can stick. This is apparently happening to a lot of others too. For instance the y button and right shoulder button do this. It's annoying when switching weapons or cycling inventory. Can't fix it either. Thirdly, the PC USB dongle doesn't work with it correctly, you have to unplug and replug it in. It doesn't pair with the xbox accessories app very well either. Bluetooth is an option? Sure but add 20ms ping onto your reaction time. Fourthly, range. It's range sucks. Unless you're sat in front of the PC or Xbox, it's going to cut out and act up intermittently. Fifthly, the total lack of support online for any of these issues is abysmal. Microsoft do not care. Conclusion. Just buy a generation 1 elite controller. Does the same trick. It's a real shame too. Everything great about the regular Elite 2 controller but at a much friendlier entry point. Costs are down due to omission of back paddles, additional sticks & carrying case, but that's the only thing different between the 2 models (except for the much-better-looking two-tone color finish on the Core) - it even has the 3-zone trigger adjustment options like the Elite 2. All other software based tweaks that you can do with the Elite 2, you can adjust with the Core on the Xbox controller app. So you're not really missing any major features. You can purchase all the additional bells & whistles later on; just wait for a discount on those ;-) Alternatively, there are cheaper good quality third-party vendors (Scuff) who provide back paddles & cases too. The Core does come with the stick tension adjuster in the box, so you can tweak that to your liking. Built-in battery means that you no longer have to keep changing AA batteries on low charge, and the battery life is just as good (if not more). Works seamlessly with Xbox One & Xbox Series consoles as well as with PC.
