I've been an insanely heavy sleeper all my life until I wasn't and suddenly my husband's snoring gave me crippling insomnia. I have really narrow ear canals, especially on one ear since I had surgery to replace my eardrum as a toddler, and didn't even bother buying any re-usable earplugs for over 3 months. Instead, I've used disposable foam earplugs that obviously lose their flexibility after only a handful of uses. I decided to give these earplugs a shot thanks to the description saying they're "mini" sized and also oval shaped. Verdict: I couldn't be more satisfied with this product! The earplugs slide in easily and they stay in place until you take them out. They have a little "tail" as an indicator for how far in they should sit, which you also intuitively feel in my opinion. My previous solution with disposable foam earplugs left my ears sweaty, itchy and sore but these don't give me any "side effects". Perhaps it's the silicone, or maybe the "ridges" in the earplugs make them a bit more breathable. Either way, it works. I bought these on Ruth Crilly’s recommendation and they have surpassed my expectations. I’ve tried so many ear plugs but just couldn’t get them to fit or to stay in or to cut out enough sound. The Alpine Sleep Deep fit like a dream, stay in my ears (unless I take them out during a random dream), they cut out my husband snoring, his noisy fan, the dehumidifier, my daughter clattering about at 6am on the weekend, and a whole range of other annoying noises, but I still hear my alarm on school days! I sleep so much better, and get back to sleep so much better after waking in the night. Genius product, easy to clean, convenient case; I recommend them wholeheartedly. Avendo le orecchie piccole, i classici tappi in schiuma per me sono troppo grandi e a volte mi escono durante la notte. Questi tappi Alpine hanno le taglie, e la S per me è perfetta. Facili da infilare (le istruzioni mi sembrano molto chiare), facili da rimuovere, morbidissimi, e lavabili!!! I have always had to wear earplugs when I go to bed, so I've been using them for a few decades. But I wasn't very happy about any of them, no matter how expensive they were (yup I've wasted $$$ on them). So I wasn't expecting much from these ones. BUT!!!
