So I've had this light for just about a month now. Have been using it for night hiking as well as open field usage (also a form of self defense/deterrent). To highlight some items, This light is a big boy and what some would refer to as a soda can style light. Solid weight on this one coming in at 646 grams without handle with a decent chunk coming from the included triple 21700 batteries. This light is unique in the sense that it is a dual channel light in this category from a brand that is well known for durability and cost efficiency. Emitter options I got was the LH351D/SFT40 combo which might be top choice shy of the 519A's for flood channel. Wow factor is absolutely there when you turbo (don't do this indoors lol) with the flood channel lighting up a massive field of view and throw channel able to pinpoint animals and objects from well over 100 yards. Pros: -Dual channel light always top choice for versatility. -This is a beefcake of a light and hits the wow factor. -Battery life is excellent considering the output (keep in mind I am in a cooler climate) -Interface is simple and has decent customization. Anduril is great but not for everyone -durable and water resistance is great for those accidental drops in the snow or light precipitation. -USB C Cons: -Charging takes a while (I do it overnight and indicator is accurate) -Darn good at both throw and flood but not the best compared to singular channels. You do sacrifice some output and performance for the versatility of a two in one. -Price. This light has been hovering around $150 at my time of purchase. It has dropped down to just above $100 during black friday and I think the ladder for price point is appropriate. All in all a really well built light with great emitter choices. If you are looking for a dual channel flash light and want a torch of this size. then it is a top contender for the weight class. I would opt for the 519A version but the Lh351D's are just fine.
