I recently got a wireless portable printer for my wife and then decided I wanted one as well. That's why I ordered this one. I had an entire list of reasons why I didn't want one back when I ordered hers--the most significant being that if I need to print something I can just send it to the lobby of any high quality hotel. Alternately, I can print remotely to my office printer and have one of my assistants send it to me overnight. There's any number of other options. If nothing else, however, I'm a man of science. I didn't feel right about dismissing having my own portable printer out of hand without trying it out. My wife's printer (same brand as this one) is a sweet little device and one she's already used frequently. Maybe there is some value to having it with me when I'm out of town? The print quality is solid and while you don't need to replace the ink you *do* need to use A4 thermal paper. You can easily print from your mobile devices via Bluetooth or desktop devices via USB. It's not the fastest printer in the world but you have to keep in mind that it's not the sort of thing you're going to use for a hundred page document. Best of all, it's amazingly small and light weighing in at just over two pounds. I picked up a case to protect it and I'm going to give it a go on my business excursions for the next several months. Bought this cause the „high quality one“ from the tattoo shop was not affordable for me. Was impressed how good it works. The example I‘ve printed was really small and detailed, used some tape to remove the ink in the darker areas to get the exact design. Using it for a few weeks now and I am more than happy. What's great about this is that you save up a lot instead of using inks for like 170 plus it's portable. Basically The printer just prints using thermals or you could think of it like burns imprints on specific thermal papers that sre required for it. But i don't know if it works on regular A4 papers. The printer needs charging before using it or plug in the charger and use Bluetooth to print from you phone from the App(Phomemo). When i used inkjet printers i kept running out of ink almost every 2/3 days and i found out the ink im purchasing barely has any ink. Here's what I like about it: - Doesn't need to be plugged into anything - Bluetooth connection works seamlessly, and I already had the Phomemo app downloaded for my M04S so it's nice this printer works with the same app - You can print from documents, web pages or images Limitations: - This doesn't seem to allow multiple sizes like the M04S, so it's just for letter sized pages - The resize function seems to be more limited and I couldn't figure out how to crop, so printing directly from a website didn't come out quite as I'd hoped. But I appreciate that the app shows where the page might cut off and end up on another sheet (just didn't notice the first time I tried printing) - Requires thermal paper to work, which factors into the ongoing cost of use vs ink cartridges for a laser printer.
