I was worried at first because some reviews said these made their mouse *too* smooth, and I can see that being a problem at higher DPIs / sensitivities. However, I play with a desk-width mousepad and very low DPI (400, low sensitivity in game), and these skates are perfect. Sometimes this low DPI was tiring outside of games, but the smoothness helps it still feel responsive and "quick" when using desktop applications etc. I still need to try them more in game, but they are so far awesome for general use.
