This an excellent watch. It’s a simple, field watch design with military time, which is handy. I have the black-faced version and just ordered one in white, and have several similar versions, and I’ve never had any issues with the watch. The Indiglo feature is handy and has never failed me. Watch looks good from a distance & near. The fabric strap fits snugly & is cool to wear but I am not sure how long it would last or if it gets stuck on something, will it get cut. Lights : Indiglo light is good with the luminous hands. Weight : Moderate weight but if you are someone who has a smaller wrists or used to wearing lightweight watches from other brands or even Timex, you will see a difference immediately. So be watchful on this. Design : Very nice design. Disadvantage for me, returning this: For such a big watch, the date window is way too too small, and the date being hard to read. I found it so difficult to read the date in normal day, under lights or even with Indiglo lights. I wish, they had put in a bigger window for the date. Cost : way too higher for this product which has only fabric strap. I am not happy with this product, & returned it. Read more

I had this watch for 6 months and the indigo light stopped working, shortly after it stopped working altogether. I changed the battery but no luck.....Garbage quality. I have been purchasing the "Expedition Model" since Basic Training in the US Army in 1986. That watch survived torture for many years....Timex is No longer the same quality Company or product...What a Shame Read more

Checked with local Timex service agent that purchase from Amazon Singapore with shipment directly from USA is not covered by their warranty/services. I have a lot of watches. Many more expensive than this but how do you compete with the pragmatic simplicity and modern aesthetic of the Timex Explorer? This is a watch that keeps amazing time in the indigo feature makes it invaluable in places ranging from movie theatres to deep in the woods. Well, I’m glad the new Explorer upgrade has 100 m water resistance, I’m not as big a fan of their colour schemes. I have also never in 35 years had to watch die because I got wet in the rain or accidentally quickly dipped in a pool. I have several of these and I’ve heard many commentators noting how the Indiglo kills the batteries but I honestly think I go 5 to 6 years between new batteries; and they’re like six dollars and they take five minutes to change. Grab a few extra straps and you basically have several watches. Read more
