Refresh rate could be better if you want it for gaming, but it does the job for me especially as I tend to play older games where it's not so important. Some reviews say their image is washed out, I guess I can see that in some aspects. See image for comparison with a laptop screen. This is a very good monitor and the price makes it even better. I have had this monitor for 2 years and it is still as good as new. I paid more than the current price and I thought it was very cheap at the time so now it is even cheaper. The quality is very good for the money and some of the best i've seen on a monitor. I use it with a Macbook Air and the monitor is very responsive - ofcourse the quality isn't as good as my Mac but with any other computer you wouldn't see the difference between the laptop screen and the external display. I have also used it with a Xbox One S and One X and it was far superior quality than a Tv. Brightness is perfect and can easily be adjusted. In fact, there are a plethora of settings one can explore should they wish to. I am very happy with this product and it would be very suitable for students etc. Read more
