This water bottle is exactly what I needed. Cruising soon and always keep a water bottle with me on the deck! With limited luggage space- a regular bottle would not have worked this time! This opens up very easy, seems to keep the water sealed tight and folds back up with ease! I didn’t notice any silicone smells- though it does give directions on how handle that. I use this bottle when I’m on cruises. I fill it with ice and when I’m on my tours or the beach I have cold water. It collapses which make it easy to use. I think the durability is excellent, I have beat this water bottle up and it’s still in good shape. It was a great value for my money, I will buy several more for gifts. The product is exactly how it is displayed. The problem is that you don't think about the repercussions of having a silicone bottle: It is not rigid, when you drink from it it is easily bendy and can spill water. Also, the water will always taste and smell like silicone. Great concept but I've used mine 3 times and that's it. I'm buying a hard aluminum one.
