I have been using this product for almost 3 months . My honest opinion is that this product is fake , doesn’t use 5% minoxidil(not surprised bought it for cheap during an offer season) . I have noticed increased hair shedding( suggesting this product has had no effect on my scalp). And this is coming from a user who has been on minoxidil treatment for 3 years. - Good pump dispenser. - Soap/shampoo like wet foam. Needs time to dry. - Hair looks fine after application, no discoloration. Just a slight shine. - Not really oily - Strong scent, similar to aftershave. - Transient cooling effect on the scalp. - Didn't cause irritation or dandruff in my experience. Product strikes me as a hairstyling soapy foam. Not as a hair loss treatment or even hair loss prevention product like the other minoxidil brands. I have been using other brands of minoxidil for a few years, and they helped me maintain my hair. However, when I tried to solely rely on this product, I had significant increase in hair fall. Something that I didn't experience with other brands of minoxidil. Unlike the minoxidils I used, this one didn't help me maintain my hair but rather caused significant increase in shedding. The lack of effectiveness and the constant fluctuation in pricing. Add to that some reviews noting that the product is not actually made in USA. Leads me to suspect that it is in fact fraudulent. It's probably just soap. Therefore, although cheaper, and feels nicer on the hair than other brands of minoxidil. I do NOT recommend this product as a hair regrowth treatment or hair maintenance therapy. Read more
