You can run USB devices off the USB ports and only have 1 power cord. We got a second one for the bed side table. Phone & watch charges no longer have a wall wart charger sticking out. I purchased this HANYCONY SURGE PROTECTOR POWER STRIP because my new Roku cord wouldn’t reach my wall outlet. Its 5ft cord also has several types of outlets to accommodate my other types of cords too (up to 10). It’s easily mountable to the table or wall, but I really didn’t need to mount it to the wall, since it functions perfectly just sitting on the table (without sliding off) due to its sturdiness and compact design. This HANACONY SURGE PROTECTOR POWER STRIP was very easy to install, just plug it in and flip the switch to activate the surge protection. I liked it so much, I returned to purchase two more.
