Best travel mug I’ve ever owned. It has great heat retention, even with the lid off. I was a big proponent of filling a travel mug with boiled water to get it as hot as possible before brewing into it. I don’t feel that’s necessary with this one. The click in splash guard is a very nice addition. The guard is also great at holding back ice, when drinking iced coffee. Comfortably fits in cup holders as well as accommodates a V60 02 brewer. I only drink black filter coffee/iced coffee, so I can’t speak to cleaning with milk or milk alternatives, but it is easy to clean and the ceramic does a great job at not retaining flavour.
