I have very little carpet in my home. I have two runners that run down hardwood floors. I routinely vacuum these runners. I initially bought this wanting to get the cat hair from the 2 cats that own me from the cushions on the barstools surrounding my kitchen island. It worked so well I decided to check the runners. Omg.. I had no idea how much cat fur was hiding there the vacuum wasn't picking up. It's work. Your arms will get tired. I can just run it over furniture, deco pillows, accent rugs, comforters...it picks up ALL the dog hair. I will be buying more!! Two years ago I bought a similar one but it broke, so I decided to get another. However, the quality of this one is bad. It is made from a very light plastic. When you use it, you need to keep your thumb over the lid where the hair is collected otherwise it opens up. Also, when you use it, keeps getting stuck and the roll does not go back and front(as it should) to clean the hair. Read more
