I’m not sure if this works or not. I had too many side effects and had to quit taking it after 10 days. Apparently my side effects (nausea, fatigue, headaches, and joint pain) are common in prolonged high doses of NAD+. I was not taking this very long, and I was only taking 300mg a day. I assume I’m just extra sensitive to this supplement. UPDATE: After a two week break, I got online and read more reviews. I saw one reviewer mention that this supplement is for someone that weights 184 lbs or less. After reading all the details, I saw they mentioned 1.36 mg of Tru Niacin per pound, per day. I weight only 86 lb. And while I am an adult, I am very short, too. My weight is in a healthy range for my height. I decided that I am probably overdoing it with the 300 mg per day. I ordered the 150 mg version, and I am now taking one per day of the 150 mg pills. I'm overall healthy and pretty young, so I think this should be sufficient for my needs. I plan to update my review again, if this new dose works for me. SECOND UPDATE: Well, the side effects returned. I'm having nausea, fatigue and headaches again. No joint pain, which makes me think the joint pain was indeed unrelated. Either way, this supplement is not for me. I really wanted it to work out. And I'm still glad I gave it a second shot. THIRD UPDATE: I decided to give this supplement one more shot. I gradually introduced it again, and this time I’ve been successful! I waited awhile before updating here, but I’m now doing well now.
