I am a photographer who was given a Makeup Forever Lip Pencil by a talented makeup artist while I was working at the Cannes film festival. I have a very thin upper lip, so I always start out my makeup with filling in a bit fuller upper lip with a lip pencil. In addition I'm over 50 and have lip lines which are difficult to draw on with most pencils. Most lip pencils I've used from major brands wear off with normal eating & drinking within just an hour or two. I honestly have to say I can apply this lip pencil and it can last up to 6-8 hours without re-application. And when it's time to re-apply I can still see the original line from my first application of the day. This pencil comes in fabulous colors and really stays a long time. It is a nice color, but there are sometimes crumples in the coloring point and the colorline does not stay on, especially if you use JLo’s lip pomade. This performs like the cheapest pencil you can buy from China. I would never pay $25 for a pencil like this again, which costs them $.25 to make. Read more

Saw an A list Actress/Singer say she uses this as her go to lipliner and it wasn't exactly the color I'd hoped it would be. Would have preferred somthing a bit darker but this was just exact my skin tone and didn't really accentuate my lips or flatter my lipstick/gloss. I though it was just meh/blah. However, I do believe the line itself is very good and if I had ordered the right color it would have been a 5 start rating. Does go on really smoothly. Just make sure you choose the right color.
