The screen fit perfect and exact like the original. But, don't take on this project unless you are patient and have a steady hand. Removing 8 screws, that make eyeglass screws look gigantic, is easy, but putting them back in is not easy. I began my project just to replace the battery. After botching that up, I ended up replacing the battery, screen and glass. But now I think I have a brand new Gen 7 Nano. For an audiobook listener,,, I'm thrilled. Tentative recommendation...
