Living in Florida I thought this was great for the extra shade but it does get sooo blistering hot in it from just the walk from the car to the store that we don’t use it much. It is easy to place around the doona and fits well but it was just way too hot. I do like that they fold up easily and can be placed in their own little bag so it’s in our diaper bag but I don’t see us getting much use unfortunately. Read more

UPDATE 10/2023: the shade weakens after a few months and it doesn’t hold onto the collapsing shade properly. So it’ll just randomly pop off. We had to buy Velcro strips to get it to stay. I will say it provides a little area of storage for light items at the bottom- which is nice considering the Doona has like no storage space. Living in Southern California, the sun is intense all year round. This shade attachment is amazing. I’ll be honest it took me longer than it should have to install it but once it’s on, we don’t take it off. It’s well made. It protects baby from sun. Couldn’t ask for more! Read more
