This item is of verey good quality it's verey compact the only thing that rattles is the handle bit once the leather strap is put over the handle that stops. The leather strap isn't of good quality But it's decent it it's looked after I use saddle soap to keep the strap in good condition. I'm verey happy with this item it's perfect for coming. Read more

This is the second one I got because my son and I enjoy using them for trail meals or just outdoor cooking. I have never had it side my side with a reai WWII one so I can't comment if it's a perfect replica but it does work as a good mess kit. The paint will burn off in high heat but I haven't had an issue with the paint on my second one only using an esbit stove. Read more

On the outside looks great except for a few dings and dents but is just probably from shipping because there was no protection layer like bubblewrap it just came in a plastic bag. The paint looks nice but did a messy job on the inside and edges, some have pain some doesn't. About the positives it looks great and is easy to install the leather strap its also light and has a good holding mechanism. Overall a good product but needs improvement. Read more
