I had tried and failed a couple of times over the years to use a safety razor. I assumed it was the blade and the me not shaving well ( a fair bit of truth in the latter ), however I also realised the products I was using weren’t suitable for my skin. After deciding to start up again recently ( tired of my lame excuse of a beard) , I started with another brand that rhymes with the fart of Baving. Unfortunately I still developed razor bumps, and was about to give up again. The last roll of the dice was this Proraso set for sensitive skin. And I finally won. Using all 3 products , with a double edged safety razor ( feather blades), I have overcome most of the adversity I was facing. Definitely recommend. I must point out that before I use the after shave balm I use an alum block, and after I use the balm, I then moisturise with some L’Oreal product my wife asked me to try. It’s great. Hydrating genius or something like that. This combination of 4 products ( 5 if you include the alum block) work for me 100%. Read more
