The drone is a wonderful bit of kit. Pricey but you can see where the money has gone. However. I was flying mine at a height of 100meters and it started to spin out of control for about 5 seconds. I expected to be digging it out the ground when it regained its stability. I have no idea what happened so posted on DJI forums and was directed to their support team, where you can upload your flight log for analysis. I was told that the file had been forwarded to the appropriate team and they would contact me with the results. The case is now showing as solved and no one has contacted me. I am still flying my £1200+ drone with no idea if its got a technical problem. The fact that the drone was able to correct itself shows just how good it is and the beautifully 4K footage i have of it spinning out of control is crystal clear. My wife is even able to control it and she has absolutly no hand/eys coordination. If you can afford one, and you've read the forum posts about problems people have had, I say get it and enjoy. Having used the P4 for a couple of months now, I am totally in awe of this machine. It is a kit that is both fun and serious. It is amazing to fly and to enjoy in the air with its camera view and flying capabilities and sensors that are super. It is also a professional grade photographic equipment, capable of taking excellent quality 4k video (and photos). It is reliable, hardy and offers a vast range of options and settings. Support from DJI is (maybe) the only weak spot, with many complaining of slow and poor response. I had some problems when updating firmware, and did manage to get their help over chat... eventually. In conclusion, this is not the ideal drone to start this hobby as it is expensive. However, this is the best overall drone out there and gives you all you may want once you get serious about arial photography. Read more
