Works well for a lot of characters! Exactly as long as I expected it to be, and can be styled for a sleek or crazy look. I've used it for Karkat Vantas, Gamzee Makara, Jane Crocker, John Egbert. It can withstand a bit of heat, but I'd keep it on the lowest setting. It starts out with little flips outwards towards the back so I would recommend having a straightener on hand. My daughter has shoulder length hair and wanted to use the black spray to color her hair for her Halloween costume. She was going as a certain guitarist from a popular band. That spray literally flakes off on to everything, so we decided to get a wig. After looking at many different options, she chose this wig for her costume. It arrived quickly and just as described. We gave it a brief shake to fluff it up from shipping. There were no flat or bare spots anywhere. After school, my daughter took a nap with the wig on. When she woke up, it was very flat on the spot she had slept on. Just a simple tousle with my hand and it bounced right back into shape and was ready for a night of trick or treating.
