Bought it as a gaming chair. Not bad at all - you get what you pay for. The seat itself - ie the cushion though can be a bit unpadded and your bum can ache if you sit for really long periods but nothing a pillow can't fix. Other than that the cup holders are awesome - I put my phone in there and it's really handy - and they're removable too if you need to clean them. My only gripe is that the footrest only comes out to a 45 degree angle when the seat is fully upright and won't flip out to 90 degrees unless you're reclining all the way back. Other than that it's amazing. If you're not sure, then buy it. If you know you want something of better quality then I would keep looking. Read more

I have had this chair now for about a year, it has seen better days but through no fault of it's own. This recliner has withstood tests that would have destroyed a lesser chair (all accidentally, mostly anyway). The chair accidentally fell down a flight of hardwood stairs when new, that incident was followed up by 2 people fell onto it (don't ask) which broke a piece of supporting wood underneath but somehow the chair has held it's shape even now, a year later. The reason i have chosen to write this now, however, is because, a year a after purchase, as of last night, the recliner withstood trial by fire while i was sound asleep, completely unaware of a raging fire taking place in the room next door. I had taped an ashtray (i know, i know, stupid but what do you expect from someone that drops a new chair down a flight of stairs) to the left cup holder, the ashtray has, or rather had, a nice lid. Emptying it to prevent ash blowing everywhere wasn't on my mind. Anyway, i woke up this morning to a completely melted ashtray and a charred seat. The ashtray had caught fire. Somehow the seat is relatively untouched, the plastic cup holder caught fire and melted, the area around the cup holder was left with no leather or foam but somehow the chair it's self did not catch fire. The materials used are obviously highly fire retardant. I am amazed by how much punishment this chair has withstood. Read more
