I love this stuff. I used it religiously when I started my retinol again and it kept the worst of the peeling at bay. Super nourishing and even though it’s thick oily stuff it doesn’t break my very acne-prone skin out. Very subtle scent. Goes on really smoothly. Leaves a film (this is best used as a spot treatment or night cream - definitely not one for under makeup) and is greasy but not in a way that feels gross on your skin like E45 does, for example. Greasy in a luxurious way. I use it when my skin is irritated, raw, itchy, flaky or dehydrated by first putting a moisturising serum on my wet face (hyaluronic acid or COSRX snail serum), then a thin layer of super hydrating gel moisturiser for water content, then this to lock it all in and repair whatever’s going on with my face. Doesn’t stain white pillowcases yellow, and stays on surprisingly well during sleep. It’s also excellent for tattoo healing, as a nappy cream, and for soothing shaving rash. A little goes a really long way. I bought the 100ml tube about six months ago when it was on sale for £10 and I still have a good few months worth left so while it is a bit pricier than things like E45 or Bepanthen, it’s great value for money and £10-15 well spent. Prima di procedere alla recensione tengo a fare una piccola precisazione in merito all'utilizzo di questo prodotto in quanto leggendo anche altre recensioni mi sono accorto che c'è una confusione di base circa l'utilizzo di questo prodotto. Il Cicaplast è una crema riparatrice , ossia è una crema che serve per levigare e riparare la pelle , per cui va usato specificamente quando la pelle è irritata , come ad esempio per scottature, post depilazione, barriera cutanea irritata ed ecc , insomma è una crema che serve sostanzialmente a ripristinare e a curare la pelle irritata , per cui non è una crema acne safe , cioè non è una crema da mettere sopra l'acne , nè una crema contro le imperfezioni, anzi se viene usata per queste esigenze si può peggiorare la situazione in quanto è una crema molto ricca e corposa e si rischia di ottenere il risultato opposto , cioè pori ostruiti e con una comparsa maggiore di imperfezioni. Fatta questa piccola premessa, riporto la mia esperienza con questo prodotto, personalmente la uso per lenire la pelle nei momenti di dermatite per attenuare i rossori , l'ho usata per accelerare il processo di guarigione di una cicatrice dopo la rimozione di un neo al viso e la uso dopo la rasatura della barba in quanto mi aiuta moltissimo contro l'irritazione , per cui i miei usi sono tutti orientati verso la riparazione cutanea . Con un uso costante i risultati si vedono e sono ben percepiti , a mio avviso è la migliore crema in commercio per quanto riguarda la categoria riparatrice/lenitiva e può essere usata per qualsiasi problematica irritante della pelle. Come scritto poco sopra, essendo una crema molto ricca e corposa, non va assolutamente usata su tutto il viso , ma solo ed esclusivamente sulle zone da trattare e irritate, questo perché avendo una texture pastosa può essere comedogenico ( può ostruire i pori ) e va usata solo in caso di irritazione della pelle e basta. Per cui , per riepilogare , è una crema da usare solo per ripristinare la barriera cutanea danneggiata , quindi solo per lenire e riparare la pelle , non va usata su tutto il viso ma solo sulle zone da trattare , non è una crema contro le imperfezioni anzi se viene usata per questo scopo può aggravare la situazione, ha una texture molto ricca ma si assorbe bene e si massaggia bene , senza ungere e aiuta tantissimo a lenire qualsiasi irritazione cutanea , per cui assolutamente consigliata. This is my first time using this cream so I don’t know whether it’s Original or not but I used it as at night after applying salicylic 2% and my skin doesn’t peel and skin gets a healthy shine when applied. I apply it for my tattoo area post laser removal and it also softens the hard tissue to some extent so I would say it’s a good product. Read more
