I bought these to drink in the gym for heavy weightlifting sessions. I have to admit these seem to work pretty well, I do feel more hydrated in the gym since using them. The taste is quite medicinal. It pretty much tastes like lemsip blackcurrant, except it doesn't leave that sticky taste on your tongue. It actually feels quite refreshing despite the taste being a bit medicinal. One thing to note is that you are supposed to put two of these tablets into your drink, so even though it looks like really good value initially, there's actually only 12 doses, not 24. So it's comparable to nuun in price, maybe a little cheaper. I uploaded a photo of the nutritional info, as at the time I bought them, I couldn't find it anywhere. These might do the job scientifically but they taste horrible. They have the same “silky” texture/taste as dioralyte and they just taste a bit grim. I tried to just down it in one but couldn’t do it. There’s got to be better options out there. The lemon ones are mildly better but they smell a bit like toilet cleaner. Overall I would use them if I absolutely had to but only as a last resort. I work out most days and was looking for something to help replenish after the workout - and I hate water! I get the blackcurrant flavour as the taste is as natural as it can be for this type of product. It takes a bit of time to dissolve so I make it before the workout to drink afterwards. It helps keep the post workout headache at bay. Also great after a night out (or a good night in - which is more accurate at my age!). However, one star knocked off for how much the price varies. I have these in my ‘save for later’ basket and check their price when I’m buying other products. When it’s £5 I grab them but otherwise I leave it as the price does go up quite a bit. Read more

I really enjoy artificial black current flavoring so these are very good in my opinion. Little expensive but if for whatever reason you are forgetting to or unable to drink water continually throughout your day these might be good to keep yourself hydrated. Has that kind of sweet salty taste that some energy drinks have not in a bad way. I really enjoy these end frankly have been tempted to try eating a tablet dry once or twice.
