Servicio impecable, producto muy bien presentado y funcionamiento perfecto. Es bonito, discreto, muy bien acabado y bastante preciso. El calendario de días de la semana en inglés y español, todo un acierto; además, el Sábado aparece en letras azules y el Domingo en rojo, una buena idea. Sólo le pongo una pequeña pega: la pulsera. Al ser tipo correa, el ajuste no es del todo exacto, puede ser que la medida adecuada para la muñeca esté entre dos de los agujeros, por lo que o va ancho o aprieta. esto es un poco molesto al pasar a invierno o verano. Por otro lado, el extremo de la pulsera tiende a deshilacharse con facilidad, además se mancha mucho por dentro y es difícil de limpiar. This is my very first mechanical watch and I just love it. The colour looks good on me as I am usually dressed in casual blue clothes. The band is of the NATO style but is still a two part band instead of the single strap NATO band. The dial is very easy to read with large Arabic numeral indices... have a look at the picture of the watch. The hands are very easy on the eyes with an excellent placement of the hours and minute hands. The seconds hand is long and thin with a red tip on it, and is very easy to read. The case and Seiko branded strap buckle are finished with a pseudo pewter finish. I think it goes well with the whole style of this watch. The luminescence is basic but fully functional; just the dots on the hour markers and all of the hands. As this is a Seiko watch, it has their proprietary "Hardlex" crystal material for the top crystal. The crystal lies flush against the top of the case so you don't have to worry about brushing it up against a door and scratching it up. This is a mechanical watch with an active self-winding rotor on the back of the movement. And quite remarkably for a watch at this price point, the back of the case is also clear and you can watch the rotor going around if you like. I believe that the rear crystal is a mineral crystal. What struck me as amazing was that this watch was ticking and showing the correct day / date and time when it arrived in the mail. The amazing part is the watch shipped from CA and was in transit for several days before arriving in the small town in Ontario, Canada. I could not believe the watch was still running after all that time in transit. I am also fairly sedentary in my daily life; most of my time is spent sitting. And even then, the watch has never run out of power, keeping great time all along the way. I purchased this watch because I had read a large number of positive reviews from sites all over the internet. It's my first purchase of a watch online, but I'm sure it won't be my last. In summary: this is a great looking watch that keeps great time. The only complaint a person may have is that the very plain box it arrived in. After a bit of looking, then prying, I was able to extract the instructions on how to set / operate the watch and it also contains the warranty information. It came wrapped around a small, soft pillow and was protected on the top with a good square of foam. IL MECCANISMO: un pezzo di storia della Seiko (basta digitare Seiko5 su google per capire di cosa stiamo parlando). Totalmente meccanico, preciso quanto la meccanica di precisione lo consente (se la precisione per voi e' fondamentale, sincronizzatelo ogni giorno con l'orologio del pc o con un orologio molto preciso). Il fondello trasparente consente di vederne l'interno (molto bello). Datario con giorno della settimana (in inglese, quindi SUN MON ecc ecc) e giorno del mese. Bel cinturino, anche se un po' delicato. L'ESTETICA: l'ho preso per questo. A me piace molto. Perfetto con i jeans. Dimensione giusta, leggero, assolutamente non fastidioso da indossare, e' uno di quelli che preferisco portare (ne ho diversi). IL PREZZO: mi pare sui 57 euro spedito, ora non ricordo di preciso. Direi ottimo. CONSIDERAZIONI ULTERIORI: totalmente meccanico, non ha pile. Si carica semplicemente portandolo. Lancette luminose (al buio si riesce a leggere l'ora, anche se ho orologi analogici che si leggono meglio), si ferma se non lo usate per un giorno (teoricamente, al massimo della carica, ha 40 ore di autonomia). Questa e' effettivamente una scocciatura, dato che ogni volta che lo uso praticamente devo regolarlo perche' lo trovo fermo. Pero' mi piace molto e mi piace molto il suo meccanismo, quindi e' una scocciatura tollerabile. You don't want a smart watch, you want a traditional watch. If you have never owned a mechanical watch, try this Seiko 5. This Seiko 5 doesn't try to push alerts and notifications in your face, so you can turn your phone off or put it out of sight and out of mind if you wish; It will have more power by the evening than it had in the morning; It should work the same in five or ten years as it does today; It will hold a respectable value in five or ten years compared to its purchase price; Its hands move; It can be serviced to prolong its life into the decades range; It is compatible with a vast assortment of widely available bands; It is on the small side but no less functional for it; It does not make any particular statement about you simply for wearing it. I had already known I wanted a traditional watch, but let me tell you why I like this one so much more than the quartz watch I had before. I didn't start out so positive. After purchasing this watch I immediately realized two things: First, 37mm really is on the small side by today's standards and 2) Because it is non-hacking, you cannot usually set it so that the minute and second hands synchronize perfectly. Mainly because of #1, I had resigned myself to let my wife have this watch and I would look for a larger one. However, because she never got around to putting it on, I grabbed it and wore it for a couple more days so it would stay wound. During this time, I realized that 1) The more I wore it, the more my perception of the watch shifted from strictly "small" toward "sleek and efficient," and 2) It kept really good time. Based on what I've read, this watch is quite accurate, especially at this price. I set it on Friday morning to be 35 seconds fast and by the same time Monday morning, it was... about 22 seconds fast. It was losing about four seconds a day. That means that over the course of two weeks it will drift from 30 seconds fast to about 30 seconds slow, at which time I can set it again. The other option is to set it more often so the minute hand is accurate, and simply deal with the second hand not coinciding with the 60/0 marker when the minute hand reaches the next marker. In either case, I get the satisfaction of feeling like I'm using an instrument rather than subscribing to a service. I don't know what else to say. It's a very respectable timepiece that is an extraordinary value. You can easily find a better watch twice its price, but it would not be twice as functional or twice as nice looking. UPDATE: After the first month of wearing it almost daily, I have some observations on the accuracy. It seems to keep slightly different time based on how wound it is. The more regularly I wear it, without skipping a day, the closer it keeps to my initial estimate of about four seconds lost per day. If I skip a day or attempt to keep it more fully wound by gently shaking it to spin the rotor, the timekeeping changes predictably but not dramatically. If anything I am even more impressed with, and attached to, this watch. I bought a medium brown strap and a silver deployment clasp, and it just looks respectable. It doesn't look showy. Pocas veces me detengo a realizar una reseña a detalle pero vale la pena resaltar los puntos que a mi me han gustado. Hoy recibí el reloj y quiero dejar mis impresiones a las pocas horas de uso. Primero decir que es un reloj con una relación calidad precio sobresaliente. El reloj tiene una calidad muy buena y se ve muy bien acabado. Segundo Me ha gustado mucho el diseño que una vez que lo tienes en las manos te das cuenta que no le hacen justicia las fotos. Estaba decidido por el negro y cuando vi el Azul, me deslumbro mas el diseño con la fecha en color blanco, pero debo confesar que voy a comprar tambien el Negro mas adelante. Tercero. El tamaño es relativo. Mi muñeca no es muy grande y mi reloj de vestir es de 30mm y uno casual de 40mm. Puedo decir que el tamaño que siento que me acomoda mas a mi es este. Pero esto es cuestión de gustos definitivamente. Cuarto. En algunas reseñas vi que la correa es de mal gusto para la mayoría. En mi opinión fue determinante para comprarlo ya que me gusto por que hace que le de un toque muy casual. Quinto. El tratarse de un reloj automático para mi gusto es el valor agregado que le da por su bajo precio.
