This is one of the rare times, when presented with a 50/50 chance for things to go my way... that they swayed in my favor. I know these were directional when I ordered them, and even once they arrived. However, when I finally had a time window to install them I spaced it completely and just happened to get lucky! If I recall, the only indication on the cable itself is some subtle arrows. These are great quality. I'm not sure any RCA cable EVER is worth what I paid for this one. However, I figured I can take comfort in the fact that it's a solid, reliable brand. I likely won't have to worry about buying another one any time soon. What's it worth to you to not have to chase down distortion in your new setup or to not have to re-run this cable to your amp in 6 mos or a year cus you went with the off-brand that looked the same? I had previously installed some Stinger Select RCA cables and found that they were picking up electronic communication noise in my 2001 BMW M5 (beeps, clicks, etc). After installing these 8000 series cables in the exact same pathway, the noises are completely gone. The shielding on these cables appears to be considerably better, for just a few dollars more Also, the construction of these is much nicer than the select series. The main cable has a black mesh covering that makes running the cable very easy. Connections are very tight and secure. My only regret? I wish I had purchased these in the first place! Read more
